With a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in English from the University of Alabama, Mrs. Dando embarked on her career in 2002 as a branch manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Atlanta. During her four years with Enterprise, she excelled at turning around failing branches, demonstrating her tenacity and strategic prowess.
In 2006, she ventured into the role of Director of Business Development for Goel Services, a prominent commercial construction company. Following this, Mrs. Dando was appointed as the Executive Director of the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee, Middle Tennessee Branch, in 2007, where she played a pivotal role in reviving the organization's membership, financial operations, and reputation. Her impact was tangible, and she remained with the group until 2013.
After her tenure with the AGC, Mrs. Dando became highly sought-after for her expertise in association management. She accepted consulting positions with esteemed organizations such as the Construction Financial Management Association and the American Subcontractors Association of North Texas. In addition to her consulting endeavors, Mrs. Dando also founded Kelly Dando Consulting.

In recognition of her outstanding work with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Mrs. Dando received the 2021 Excellence Award from the DFW Chapter, further solidifying her position as a leader in the industry. She also earned the 2019 CFMA Chairman's Coin for her contributions.
